AccessibilityOz is headed to another ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium next month, from Monday, November 5th through Thursday, November 8th at George Mason University’s Arlington Campus (3351 North Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22201, USA).
We will be releasing a Mobile Accessibility Testing methodology at the ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium. You can attend our half day training session, run by our CEO Gian Wild and Sunish Gupta, head of Easy Alliance, or the seminar during the conference – either way you will receive detailed technology-agnostic testing instructions on how to test mobile sites for accessibility. If you’re new to accessibility testing, consider attending the Accessibility Testing Bootcamp by Karl Groves. If you have been testing for awhile but want to make sure your skills are up-to-date, consider attending the half-day “Testing 201 Workshop” run by Gian and Sheri Byrne-Haber.
We also encourage all conference-goers to attend the keynote speech by disability rights lawyer Lainey Feingold, “A Lawyer Goes into an Accessibility Testing Conference… (not a joke!),” during the Morning Plenary Session on Wednesday, November 7th.
In addition to her two workshops, our CEO Gian will also be presenting two papers: “Testing video players for accessibility compliance” and “Testing social media for WCAG2 compliance.”
